Saving customers money

Sometimes it’s better to have a satisfied customer than to come away from a job with a nice profit!

This week has been a prime example of where customer satisfaction was the top priority. A customer in Yetminster, Coles Lane had had a new boiler installed under one of the recent government heating schemes. Unfortunately the boiler failed this week and the original installer had gone out of business – I received the call to investigate the issue. I quickly found the fault was a failed heating pump.

At this point I could easily have charged for the replacement but knowing the boiler is under covered by a 5 year warranty I made a call to my contacts at Worcester Bosch and arranged for an engineer to call and replace the faulty part free of charge, all this at no cost to the customer.  A very satisfying mornings work all round!
